The Bering 76 is part of the Exploration series. This pilothouse designed motor-yacht is perfectly capable of being handled by a crew of two yet her interior layout can easily accommodate up to eight passengers and can easily travel over 4,000 nautical miles without requiring the need for resupply.
Bering Yachts was launched in 2007 by two longtime friends, Alexei Mikhailov and Alexander Obidin. They were both passionate about expedition steel trawlers and collaborated on a project back in 1990 converting a 136’ commercial steel ship into a luxury yacht. Fast forward to 2007 a full state of the art semi production shipyard was constructed out of Antalya, Turkey.
The roots of Bering’s design and construction approach lie in modern steel North Sea commercial ships, which are built to highly-regarded Scandinavian naval architectural standards. These ships, able to withstand the severe storms and icy conditions of the Baltic and North Seas, set the standard that Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov follows in his mission of creating semi-custom heavy steel expedition vessels that provide safe and stable rides.
While rugged and invincible, our yachts are also striking to behold and offer the highest levels of luxury. Few build features as standard:
- Water proof bulkheads in all models
- 10mm Structural Marine Grade Steel below waterline
- Complete perimeter bulwark
- CLASS A - CE Certification
Today, the Bering Yachts line ranges in size from 50 to 130 feet and is offered in two lines: Expedition and Explorer. For us, building these boats is a passion, a commitment we believe in to our core. We love what we do and put that dedication into each and every project.
